Kierra Lee-Dunson
I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel genuinely seen, respected, and understood. My therapy approach is warm, collaborative, and authentic, believing you have innate strengths, even if they feel hidden. I work with teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, identity concerns, low self-esteem, and emotional regulation issues. Many clients come feeling stuck or disconnected, and together we build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change.
My integrative, evidence-based methods draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. I tailor sessions to each individual, focusing on emotional understanding, challenging unhelpful thoughts, and healthy distress responses. My experience with intense emotional situations allows me to support clients with compassion and clarity, particularly those struggling with perfectionism, self-doubt, or feelings of inadequacy. I aim to create a safe, authentic, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. Therapy with me is a space for you to be yourself and begin your journey toward feeling more grounded and connected. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and ready to grow, I would be honored to support you.
Kierra is currently under the supervision of Dr. Latrice Love, LCMHC, CPCS. To schedule a free 10-15 minute consultation with Kierra, please email our intake coordinator at [email protected].
